В представленной статье рассматривается история формирования, развития и деятельности органов управления физической культурой и спортом Якутии с момента создания Якутского Совета физической культуры в 1923 г. и до начала Великой Отечественной войны. Представлены основные проблемы, с которыми вынуждено было столкнуться физкультурное движение в первые годы своего существования. Отмечено, что, несмотря на отсутствие единой системы физического воспитания и хронический дефицит компетентных сотрудников, органами управления проводилась большая работа по организации и популяризации физической культуры и спорта, благодаря чему за короткий срок физкультурным движением были охвачены значительные массы населения. Также в статье освещены основные этапы реформирования управленческих структур главного спортивного ведомства, в частности преобразование Совета физической культуры в Комитет по делам физической культуры и спорта в 1936 г., обозначена роль программы физкультурной подготовки "Готов к труду и обороне", внедрявшейся среди населения Якутии в указанный период. Особо отмечено, что в начальный период деятельности органов управления физической культурой и спортом Якутии были заложены основы инфраструктуры республики и определены основные направления для дальнейшего развития.
The article considers the history of formation, development and activity of management of physical training and sports of Yakutia since the creation of the Yakut Council of physical training in 1923 and before the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. The main problems are presented with which the sports movement was forced to face in the first years of its existence. It was noted that, despite the absence of a unified system of physical education and the chronic shortage of competent employees, the management bodies carried out a lot of work to organize and popularize physical training and sports, thanks to which in a short time the mass movement covered a large number of people. Also in the article the main stages of reforming the management structures of the main sports department are highlighted, in particular, the transformation of the Physical Training Council into the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports in 1936, the role of the program of physical training “Ready for Labor and Defense”, introduced among the population of Yakutia in specified period. It is specially noted that in the initial period of activity of the bodies of management of physical training and sports of Yakutia the foundations of the infrastructure of the republic were laid and the main directions for further development were determined.
